What TallyGrid stores
TallyGrid is a Shopify admin app for inventory adjustments, from CNR Consulting Services, Inc. It asks Shopify for read_products, read_inventory, write_inventory, and read_locations. That lets it read products, read and change inventory, and read locations. It does not ask for customer or order access, and it does not store customer or order data.
We keep these shop records
- Shop domain, the Admin API access token, and a refresh token when Shopify issues one
- Reason presets, your location list, the default location, the location locked to the plan, and a flag if the app needs you to reopen it
- Adjustment history: product and variant names, SKU, barcode, quantities, location, reason, and an optional note
- A staff id or an API key prefix on a batch, when one is recorded
- A billing snapshot from Shopify: plan, status, and charge id
- API keys you create in the app, stored as a hash and a short prefix. The full key is not stored.
- How many adjustment lines the shop used in the current month
We do not keep customer or staff contact details
- Customer personal information
- Order contents or payment details
- Staff name or email
This is when we delete shop data
If you uninstall the app, TallyGrid deletes the session, settings, reason presets, API keys, and adjustment history. It marks the billing row cancelled and keeps that row. It also keeps the monthly line count, so a reinstall in the same month stays on the same Free cap.
When Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook, TallyGrid deletes what is left, including billing and the monthly line count.
If Shopify asks for a customer's data, or asks us to delete a customer, we acknowledge the request. There is no customer record to return or delete.
